Frank Bucino Jr.


NORWICH – Frank Anthony Bucino Jr., 42, of Norwich, NY, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich.
Born in Newton, Frank lived in Andover Township before moving to Norwich twelve years ago. He received his Associates of Arts from the County College of Morris and was a Junior at Binghamton University. An avid moviegoer, Frank enjoyed films, fine dining and traveling. He also loved fishing, boating, music and DJing.
Frank was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Bucino.
The son of Frank A. Bucino Sr. and Diane (nee Current) Bucino of Norwich, Frank is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Jeanne Current of Andover Township; his uncle, Walter Current Jr., of Andover Township; his aunt, Darlene Current of Newton; his aunt and uncle, Jeanee and Tim Mooney; his cousins, Robert, Carrie, Lori, Katie, Walter and Michael Current; his godmother, Ann Snyder; and several second and third cousins. He is also survived by many lifelong friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton. Interment will follow in Sparta Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Norwich, NY.
