Barbaranne Ash English passed peacefully, surrounded by her family on August 6, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Kurt J. English; and brother-in-law, Jon English. Barbaranne was survived by her daughter, Anne English; granddaughters, Brianna Curley and Shannon Curley; son-in-law, Philip Curley, special sister-in-laws, Kay Menichetti and Judy (Pat) Mulligan; special niece Becky (Kevin) Hughes, special nephew Bud Ash; brother-in-law, Jeffery English; sister-in-laws, Carol English and Marie English; brother, William (Joann) Ash; and several nieces and nephews.
Barbaranne was a devoted wife to her husband Kurt. She enjoyed accompanying him on his business trips to various locations such as Florida, the Bahamas and all of New York. After her trips, she would love to tell stories of the interesting people she met. When the two of them were not traveling they enjoyed their sailboat. She was also a dedicated grandmother and mother, who spent many hours baking and cooking delicious meals. Barbaranne enjoyed shopping for many hours and playing cards with her friends at Good Shephard in Endwell.
Funeral services for Barbaranne will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday from the Allen Memorial Home, Inc., 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Deacon Dale Crotsley of Our Lady of Sorrows Church officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Friday from 3 p.m. until service time at 5 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Barbaranne’s memory may be made to the UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Foundation, 179 North Broad Street, Norwich, NY 13815 or the charity of ones choice.
