BAINBRIDGE – Brandy Lyn Smith, 15, of Bainbridge, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 4, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Brandy was born on November 7, 1997, daughter of Ambrose Smith Jr. and Dara (Cole) Smith in Oneonta. Brandy was preparing to begin her 10th grade year at Bainbridge-Guilford High School, where she had many friends and was eager to learn.
Brandy will be remembered as a free spirited girl who loved animals. She had a bubbly personality and a smile that could light up a room. She was caring, considerate and compassionate, and would do anything for her friends.
Brandy is survived by her mother, Dara Smith, and younger sister, Nicole Smith, both of Bainbridge; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends; and special teacher and mentor, Kevin Wehrli.
Friends are invited to call from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Rev.
