ROBERT BRADY
OXFORD – Robert J. Brady, 73, of Oxford, passed away peacefully in Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown on Monday, Feb. 5, 2007.
Born in Manhattan on March 16, 1933, Bob was the son of Thomas and Irene Brady. He attended New York City schools, and following graduation worked for the Brooklyn Navy Yard, then Nassau County, and finally Nassau BOCES, from which he retired in 2000. He moved with his family to Oxford in 2003.
Bob is survived by his wife, Josephine of Oxford; his daughters Laurie, Lynne, Debbie, Theresa and Joyce; 13 grandchildren, one great grandson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Hughes. Bob was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.
Bob was a fan of all sports, especially Yankee baseball. He also loved fishing and the outdoors, and he especially enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of St. Paul. Friends are invited to call at the Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m.
