NORWICH – Margery Cook, 89, a life long Norwich resident, passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, in the Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Norwich.
Margery was born in Norwich on Feb. 23, 1924 the daughter of Louis and Mildred Gucker Cook. A lifelong Norwich resident, Margery was a graduate of the Norwich Schools and had been employed by GLA and its successors. Over the years Margery enjoyed traveling and her pets.
Margery is survived by her nieces and nephews, Rev. Stephen Cook and Eileen, Thomas Cook and wife JoAnn, Sharon Everard and husband James, and Susan Adkison and husband David, along with several great nieces and great nephews.
Margery was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard “Lefty” and Marian Cook.
Services for Margery will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
