Theresa Palamaro, 83, formerly of Norwich, and more recently of East Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Born November 18, 1929 in Carbondale, PA, Theresa was the daughter of John and Nellie (Vitkus) Plosky. She worked at Bendix (Amphenol Corp) in Sydney, NY prior to retiring from the company. Theresa’s husband, Peter, with whom she was married for 59 years, passed away on July 7, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Kilmer of Myrtle Beach, SC; a granddaughter, Jennifer Pedley, of Liverpool, and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Theresa was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Jerome Anthony.
Theresa and Peter very much enjoyed spending their winters in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville, NY.
A Memorial Mass for Theresa will be celebrated in the spring at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Norwich. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
