NORWICH – Funeral services for Marvin S. Smith were held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Alan Lang, pastor of the United Church of Oxford, officiated. Representing local veterans organizations were John Greeley, Ron Palmer and Howard Burke with Mr. Greeley presenting the flag to Marvin’s wife Frances Smith.
Interment will be at a later date in the Mt. Hope Cemetery of Norwich.
