NORWICH – Helen Sayles, 78, of Natoli Avenue, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007 at Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Born April 11, 1928 in Binghamton, Helen was the daughter of John and Mary (Kosick) Zelenyak. She was raised in Binghamton and later worked for many years for the Raymond Corporation in Greene. She retired in the early 1980s.
On Nov. 4, 1972 in Norwich, Helen married Robert Sayles who died on April 21, 2005.  She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Lever and her husband, Jeffrey, of Lexington, SC; five grandchildren, Rosemarie Belveg of Lexington, Francine and Joseph Belveg of Binghamton, Daniel Matias and Kaitlyn Matias, both of Binghamton.  She is also survived by a brother, John Zelenyak of Hawleyton.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Sayles will be held at the convenience of the family.  There will be no calling hours.
