McDONOUGH – Heidee L. Peterson, 30, of McDonough passed away March 13, 2007 surrounded by her family and very close friends, after a courageous battle with diabetes, at Binghamton General Hospital.
 She was born on Jan. 11, 1977 in Sidney. She is survived by her parents, Nancy Peterson and Mark MacLaury of McDonough, Larry Peterson and Becky Streeter of Owego, and Donald Brokaw, Jr. of Sherburne; her son, Isaiah Peterson of McDonough; her great grandmother, Leona Whittaker of Oxford; her grandparents, Elaine Daily of Oxford, David and Lena Willcox of Middleport, Alma Brokaw of Sherburne, and Pauline MacLaury of McDonough; her sister, Kylee Borden and son Ryan of Norwich; her brother, Shane and Heidi Willcox and daughter Shayna of Norwich; her foster sisters, Tameka Wilsey and Nicole Wilsey of Norwich; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Also numerous special high school and college friends.
A devoted mother, Heidee was a graduate of Oxford Academy and Central School and SUNY Canton. She had worked at New York Central Mutual Insurance, Valley View Manor Nursing Home and most recently at Gilmour Health Care Facility.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford with the Rev. Stanley Thurber of Medina officiating.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home on Sunday from noon until the time of the service at 2 p.m. 
Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for her son Isaiah at GHS Federal Credit Union, PO Box 528, Norwich, NY 13815.
