GUILFORD – Myrtle Marie Taylor, 89, of Guilford, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Gilmour Health Care Facility, Norwich.
She was born June 4, 1917, daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle (Davis) Graef in Norwich. Myrtle married Byron C. Talor on September 18, 1937 in South Plymouth. He predeceased her in December of 1990.
Myrtle is survived by her children: David B. Taylor (Suzanne) Niskayuna, Frederick C. Taylor, Binghamton, Gladys (Samuel) Smith, Lexington, N.C. and Doris Tilley of Sidney; six grandchildren, Samuel Smith, Jr., Charlynn Smith, Shaun Tilley, Matthew Tilley, Brian Taylor, Jennifer Hobbs; five great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Graef of Norwich and Sister Mary (Graef) Goodrich of Calif.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Guilford Center Cemetery.
