NORWICH – Elizabeth “Betty” Catherine Musgrave, 84, formerly of Oxford, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007 in the Valley View Manor Nursing Home where she had made her home for the past several years.
Betty was born March 11,1923 in New Rochelle, the daughter of Walter and Ethel King Musgrave. She grew up in New Rochelle where she attended the local schools. Following her education she gained employment with the William H. Rudge Publishing Co. in Pelham, where she worked as a copywriter. In 1972 Betty moved to the Mt. Upton area and in the early 1980s through 1997 made her home in Oxford.
Over the years she enjoyed collecting fine china and had acquired an extensive collection.
There are no known survivors.
Funeral services for Betty will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Hale, pastor of the Broad Street United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Interment will be in the family lot in the Beechwoods cemetery in New Rochelle.
