SMYRNA – Gary R. Boscio, 47, of Jersey City, N.J., passed away on April 10, 2001, in Jersey City.
Born in Jersey City, N.J., on June 26, 1953, Gary was the son of Rocco and Hazel Winona (Dykes) Boscio. He attended St. Aloysius, Our Lady Victories, and Our Lady of Sorows elementary schools and graduated from Snyder High School in Jersey City. He was also a graduate of Culinary School of Arts, where he studied to be a chef, and of the ICS Business Management. Gary worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Jersey City for 27 years, and found enjoyment and contentment in playing his guitar.
Gary is survived by his mother, Winona Nadolski of Norwich; by his sister, Carole Moscato of South Plymouth; his niece. Crystal Moscato of South Plymouth, and nephew Michael Moscato of Jersey City. He was predeceased by his dad, Rocco Boscio, and his step-dad, Matthew Nadolski.
Graveside committal service for Gary will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, June 26, from the Willcox Cemetery of Smyrna. The Rev. Lester Smith, pastor of St. Malachy’s Church of Sherburne, will officiate.
