NORWICH – Thomas John “Tommy” Brewer, 48, of Norwich, passed away June 22, 2006 in the Town of New Berlin.
Tommy was born June 11, 1958 in Norwich, the son of Stephen & Barbara (Mrosz) Brewer. His step-mother is Yvonne Brewer. He spent his childhood years in the Norwich area, graduating from the Norwich High School.
Tommy was a member of the American Legion, Norwich. He was employed as a Mixologist. He had a big heart and loved fishing, playing the horses, gambling and card games.
He is survived by his children; Stephen Brewer of Morris, Hannah Brewer of Morris, Jonathan Brewer of Morris and Calley Brewer of Morris; a special friend, Sherry Rutledge; brothers, Abe Brewer of Norwich, Stanley Brewer of Guilford; sisters, Diane Wadsworth of Vestal and Bobbi Jo Brewer of Norwich along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin with the Reverend Beverly Butler of the First United Methodist Church, New Berlin, officiating. Calling hours will be on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin.
