SHERBURNE – Frank P. Neal, 87, of Billings Rd., died on Aug. 21, 2007 while residing at the Chenango Memorial Hospital Residential Health Care Facility in Norwich.
He was born on June 21, 1920 in North Pitcher, a son of Floyd M. and Winnie Slocum Neal and was a graduate of South Otselic High School in 1939. He lived in North Pitcher until moving to Sherburne in 1979. On Oct. 11, 1997, Frank was married to Eva G. Collins Bruno in Sherburne. He had been a farmer and maple syrup producer until his retirement. He was member of several organizations including the 4-H, F.F.A and the NYS Maple Producers Assoc.
Surviving is his loving wife, Eva; four daughters, Cheerie Neal, Coleene Rumaner, Charlene Neal and Cristel Moon, five sons, Richard Neal, Roger Neal, Randy Neal, Radley Neal and Robert Neal; six step-children and their families, Andrew “Junie” Bruno, Jr., Russell “Rusty” Bruno, Daniel “Danny” Bruno, Susan Davis, Douglas Bruno and Betty Morris; a sister-in-law, Ethel Neal of Earlville; many grandchildren including Wendy Pasquale; many great-grandchildren; step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Raye and Roy, and a daughter, Colinda. Two brothers, Theodore (Ted) and Maxson Neal also predeceased him.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Burial will be in the North Pitcher Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
