RONALD RISSER
SHERBURNE – Mr. Ronald A. Risser, 59, of NYS Route 80 East, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007 at his home
He was born Feb. 2, 1948 in Myerstown, Pa., a son of Edward H. and Margaret M. Miller Risser. He was a 1966 graduate of Eastern Lebanon County Schools in Myerstown. On Oct. 17, 1970, Ronald was united in marriage to Carol L. Wagner in Myerstown. Moving to the Town of Columbus in 1979, he operated a dairy farm until his retirement. For the past seven years, he was a bus driver for the Sherburne-Earlville Central School. Ron was a member of the NY Holstein Association and the Civil Service Employees Association.
Surviving are his wife, Carol; a son, Michael A. Risser of Kutztown, Pa.; his brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Lynne Risser, Henry and Brenda Risser, all of Myerstown, Pa.; Hubert and Barbara Risser of Richland, PA; Dennis Risser and Ernest Risser, both of Myerstown, Pa.; several nieces and nephews. A brother, James Risser predeceased him.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
