NORWICH – Virginia D. (Ginny) Salladin, 64, of Norwich, passed away Nov. 22, 2007, at Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Ginny was born Aug. 6, 1943, in Norwich, to Colonel Henry Salladin and Leda Button. Ginny was raised in Guilford area and attended Guilford school. She owned her own trailer park and worked at the Norwich Shoe factory for years. She was a lifetime member of VFW and Women’s Auxiliary. She loved her pets. Pepper, Bixby, and Shasta.
Ginny was predeceased in death by her three sisters: Myrtle (Jackie) Barker, LuAnn (Wayne) Brazee, Charleen Williams; and two brothers: Fred Carpenter and Butch Button and her son Richard Christie.
Ginny is survived by her children: Robert (Kari) Buck of Sherburne, Randy Buck and friend Wanda Levix of Norwich, and Roxanne Conn of Jensen Beach, Fla.; sisters, Thelma West and Betty Hadlock, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services for Ginny will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Connolly, pastor of the United Church of Christ, First Congregational, will officiate. There will be no calling hours.
