She was born Nov. 30, 1951, in Sidney, the daughter of Norman F. and Sophrona Merritt Price. Nancy had work at the Valley View Manor Nursing Home, as a nurse’s aide, and as a baker at Price Chopper in Norwich.

Virginia was born in Norwich, the daughter of William H. and Estella G. (Mattice) Atkinson. After her schooling in Norwich, Virginia worked as a clerk at the former J.C. Penney and Bates-Troy Laundry before working for Victory Markets, retiring due to her health.

EARLVILLE – Francis E. Markiewicz, 77, of Fayette St., passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at the VA Medical Center, Syracuse.
He was born June 1, 1932 in Norwich, a son of the late Francis A. and Elma Hodge Markiewicz and was a graduate of Sherburne High School.
