He was born Sept. 16, 1926 in Sherburne, a son of Lloyd and Effie Marks Cook and received his education in local schools. Tim worked on the family farm Lloyd E. Cook & Son in Sherburne Four Corners. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Sherburne.

NORWICH – Thelma Homovich, 83, of Norwich, passed away early Monday morning, May 3, 2010 in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Private funeral services for Thelma will be held at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Anderson, pastor of the North Norwich United Methodist Church, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in the Sylvan Lawn Cemetery in Greene.

OXFORD – Jacob Wayne Matthew Northup, infant son of Richard Northup and Catherine Figgs of Oxford, died Dec, 23, 2009 at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich.
Besides his parents, Richard and Catherine, he is survived by his brother Robbie; his paternal grandparents, Kevin and Tena Northup of Oxford; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Scott of Laurens. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
