Kevin was born in Norwich on January 30, 1958 the son of Lawrence & Pearl Manwarren Thompson. He spent most of his childhood and teenage years in Sherburne where he attended the Sherburne-Earlville School before moving to the Norwich area where he finished his schooling in the Norwich. After graduating high school in Phoenix, New York, she received training as a registered nurse as a proud member of the Cadet Nurse Corps at the end of World War II.
