Gena was born on Jan. 9, 1933, in Morris, the daughter of the late Raymond and Myrtle (Bailey) Gould.

He was born in Earlville and had retired from DeRuyter Contractors where he was a mason. He was a member of the DeRuyter Fire Dept.
